Playboy chooses Windsor for party (con't)

She says Caesars also “approached” Playboy to hold the party. “It was kind of a mix.”

Playboy’s Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole will be on hand as will a couple of other Playmates, Jordan Monroe and Tailor James.

Nicole, a Canadian, has starred on the television show The Hills.

In association with the event Caesars will be hosting a Playboy Bunny Search.

Forty contestants will be chosen, with 15 finalists taking the stage during the party when the winning Bunny will be chosen.

Hennessey says guests can expect the hall to be decorated in Playboy paraphernalia.

Patrons will be greeted by women “wearing a variation of the Bunny costume.”

Asked if there might be surprise guests, she said, “I don’t know. I know that all the venues are reaching out to celebrities...so who knows?”

Hennessey said each of the parties around the world will have a slightly different theme.

Caesars’ Holly Ward said while the theme is a beach party “we are not promoting that guests wear bathing suits. However, if they do attend wearing one, they will not be turned away.”

Playboy clubs were extremely popular when they started but some closed over the years, including one on East Jefferson in Detroit that was in business from 1963 to 1977.

Hennessey said the Playboy clubs never “really went out of style” though the “nightclub scene kind of changed.”

But, she said, the relaunch of the Playboy Club at the Palms Hotel Casino in Las Vegas has been “extremely popular.”

And new clubs are being opened in Miami and Cancun as well as elsewhere in the world.

She said the clubs are “a place where both men and women can have a great night out.”

Hennessey said when guests arrive at Caesars “they are going to find on a smaller scale the type of parties that happen at the (Hugh Hefner) mansion that Playboy is famous for.”
