Inukshuks are us!
But we know there are others, probably many others.
Which just goes to show that, to all the deniers out there, folks in Windsor and Essex County are just as Canadian as anyone else. Eh?
For those who don’t know, an Inukshuk is a stack of rocks, placed in human form, that provides directions across the vast Arctic.
It has since become a symbol of friendship.
The Vancouver Olympic Ctte. chose the symbol to welcome the world.
Its name is Ilanaaq, the Inuktitut word for friend.
