I suppose the sensiblities of Quebecois concerning that era in Canadian history could be bruised.
Wonder how the Japanese-Americans intered in the U.S. during WWII would feel about Toyota airing ads with footage of those concentration camps nowadays in the U.S? Would it create more or less of a stir? If it did, at least the interested parties, a Japanese car company & the American government, would be on equal footing! I'm not sure why Toyota is expected to bow to Canadian strife between the English & French citizenry?
